Rescue workers prepare to remove the body of a teenage street racer who crashed into an 18-wheel trailer truck while fleeing police in Kanchanaburi overnight. The victim’s motorcycle was trapped under the front left wheel of the 18-wheeler. Investigators reported that youths mounted on about 20 motorcycles were racing on the road before the crash. One of them shouted there was a police checkpoint ahead, so they all fled back up the road. Kritsana followed them, but fled right into the path of an oncoming 18-wheel trailer truck and smashed into it, police said.
